This was a wonderful, immersive tour. I'll tell anyone who'll listen: engage a guide for something as dense and concentrated as a visit to one of the world's great museums. When you have someone with you who can explain the significance and context of the museum and its works, it transforms the experience from a "visit" to an "education." Beatriz' knowledge of the collections signature works, especially Bosch's "Garden of Earthly Delights" and Velásquez' "Las Meninas," truly enriched my experience. Thank you!
Alex was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Spain dating back to the era BC. During the tour he explained the traditions important to the Spanish and the place they have in today’s society. At the end of the tour Alex guided us to a local cafe for us to enjoy the local cuisine and beverages enjoyed by the locals.
