We had a great morning with Raquel in Sintra. Raquel is a wonderful guide who really enhanced our visit to this beautiful city. She shared interesting history about the sights, and also taught us a lot about Portugal. Raquel is very easy to spend time with, and we enjoyed her warmth, authenticity, and extensive knowledge. We had a fabulous tour with Raquel and it was definitely the highlight of our time in Sintra.
Patricia was an excellent guide for the Lisbon food tour. As she is a chef, it added to her being so knowledgeable about Lisbon, the foods and restaurants. She took us for tasting of various foods, desserts and markets. Highly recommend!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Sintra with Jose Vale. Because he's a historian and academic, we peppered him with questions and he answered every one with enthusiasm. Our time with him made our visits to the Pena Palace, Biester house and National Palace much deeper and richer. He was patient, informative, and very pleasant to spend time with. Our driver Paolo was helpful and gracious and made sure we were always comfortable; we felt looked after in every way. So if you're wondering if a Context tour is worth the money, let us assure you it definitely is. Every now and then we'd overhear another guide talking to a group, and what we were learning was always far superior.
