Rafael was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. As a practicing architect, he very clearly and simply explained the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi to us, and how to look at and appreciate Japanese aesthetics and design. Very pleasant personality, and our entire family enjoyed spending the afternoon with him. We would highly, highly recommend Raphael!

Gavin was an outstanding guide and gave us a terrific perspective of the Tokugawa era and the time of the Warring states. He clearly has a passion for teaching, and excels at it. It was fun to spend the afternoon with him. We would highly recommend Gavin.
