Really enjoyed the tour of Gion, and Marcin’s insight and knowledge of his topic added some real colour to the subject and we felt we learned a lot. He took us away from some of the tourist hotspots and we were lucky to see several Geishas here. He was happy to answer our many questions on Japan topics beyond the subject of the tour which was very helpful in us getting a better understanding of Japan and its culture on our first visit to the country. Definitely recommend this tour.

Informative and great fun. Christiana was full of interesting tidbits, led us through the best streets to experience the old Quarter and brought the Geishas to life as we strolled through the streets and learned of their history. It was an all around wonderful time with Christiana. She’s knowledgeable, interesting and fun to be with! Highly recommend

The Arishiyama trip including Tenryu-ji and the Bamboo Grove was really enjoyable. My guide Karin was very informative on matters of history, architecture and even the plants which all helped me enjoy the tour.
