Edina was really engaging and passionate about the way she spoke about architecture and its relationship to the history and culture of Budapest. She was able to weave an interesting narrative starting with the psychology of Hungarians and how the impact of occupations, wars, floods and other circumstances has shaped the art and architecture of the city. Architectural variations of buildings from Romanticism to Art Nouveau have some quirky features and Edina had a great way of articulating and detailing these elements. I think Edina would be a great guide for any tour about Budapest, as she is insightful and knowledgeable.
