We were able to complete 2 synagogue visits (the third was closed) in the historic and lively Jewish Quarter. Levente expertly articulated Jewish history in Hungary and the impact on the Jewish community as we walked the streets. The tour was private so allowed for great discussions and reflection about the community’s history and its role today.
The tour was so interesting and really taught us about the long Jewish history of Budapest. Daniel was engaging and really made the city come to life
Greta was a wonderful guide. He we had a great time learning from her. She was personable, and very knowledgeable.
