Daniel Mayer’s knowledge of the Dohany Synagogue, and the history of the Jewish experience in Hungary, and more specifically Budapest in the 19th and 20th centuries is unsurpassed. He was interesting and informative and gave a moving and worthwhile tour. It is good to know that there is someone like Daniel who clearly understands the significance of these stories and is keeping them alive for younger generations. We are so glad that we took this tour.
