I had a wonderful afternoon at the British Museum with Alan Montgomery on Context’s “Secrets of the British Museum” tour. Alan is an excellent and knowledgeable guide. The tour started with the history of the museum and then we explored some of the highlights of the museum’s Egyptian, Assyrian and Greek holdings, before spending some time in the world of ancient Britain. Alan put each part of the collection we visited into its historical context, and provided thorough and interesting explanations of all of the items we saw on display.

One of the highlights of a week in London. Harry, our guide couldn’t have been more knowledgeable or passionate about this period in history. My husband, a history fanatic, was on the edge of his “seat” the entire time. Cheers Harry!
