From soaring peaks to baroque palaces, Central Europe is a delight. This landlocked hub of the continent features wonderfully preserved cities that allow us to travel back in time.

Visit the region’s grand cities, including Budapest, Vienna, Prague, and Salzburg, for a taste of Central Europe’s royal past. The medieval, baroque, gothic, and neoclassical architecture laid out along their streets speak to the former eras when kings—especially the House of Habsburg—reigned.

Excellent tour with Katharina. Very knowledgeable and terrific personality. Took time to explain much about the history of the palace, the royal family, and Austrian history. Would be pleased to take another tour with her.
The guide was lovely and tried her best to give us a good introduction to Vienna. What we lacked was a really comprehensive overview of the historical significance of the city, so it felt a bit piecemeal, but now that we have been here a bit longer, some of the things she spoke of are beginning to resonate. We would have appreciated a bit more depth in historical background, but perhaps we should have asked more questions.
Katharina is an exceptional guide. Her depth of knowledge and ability to explain the material is outstanding and she is one of the best guides we have ever encountered. Sherman English is excelllent which also makes a big difference. Finally, her passion for her subject and her city is palpable. Thank you.
