Frances Linzee Gordon
After growing up in the Highlands of Scotland, Frances later studied and worked In London, so feels at home in both environments - Britain’s great cities, as well as its beautiful countryside!
Frances’ education is equally broad, ranging from art history and English literature, to ancient & modern languages (BA Hons), to world history (MA in prog), European economics, politics, history & law (DUEFE) - so also feels at home in almost any subject!
During a long & successful career in travel journalism, she learnt not just how to find, craft and tell a great story, but also the priceless value of a great guide - having hired 100s herself! Travelling in nearly 100 countries & studying around 10 languages, she also acquired an international perspective, and an ability to relate to people of all nationalities, creeds & races.
Frances’ personal ethos is to bring out the best of every place, to inform but also to inspire, to treat guests like her own friends, and to look after them like her own family.
She can’t wait to share Britain’s best and create special & unforgettable memories!
