Elise grew up in Paris with two younger siblings. The highlight of her year was the one week she would spend alone at her maternal grandparents, visiting museums and monuments, and strolling through neighborhoods.

Elise mysteriously chose to study engineering and worked as a mechanical engineer in France, the US and Germany for 20 years, until she realized that her passion could become her job! As soon as she did, she went back to school and got her degree as a certified guide. She now loves meeting people from around the world, showing them her hometown, and connecting it to their personal experience.
