Ellie is an Edinburgh resident and Scottish history enthusiast! She is recent graduate from the University of Edinburgh, where she undertook both her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. She has just completed a postgraduate research degree exploring the history of the supernatural in seventeenth-century Scotland. Her particular expertise is in the history of elite belief in Scotland's early modern ghosts and witches. When not researching, she works on the University of Edinburgh's interactive Map of Scottish Witchcraft and other spooky projects. She is passionate about Scottish history and sharing its stories with other people, especially with the beautiful backdrop that Edinburgh provides.
