Dr Alexander Collins is currently a postdoctoral fellow with the Paul Mellon Centre for British Art Studies. He completed his doctorate at Edinburgh University where he continues to teaches history of art. He also collaborates with the Stirling Council coordinating Stirling Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme. He studied his MA in Art History and English at the University of St Andrews in 2009, before working in heritage and local government.
