Agnieszka is an historian specializing in the Holocaust, who graduated with degrees in History and Jewish Studies from the Jagiellonian Univeristy in Krakow, Poland. She has been working as a licensed educator and guide at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial Site for nearly eighteen years, and is currently the Chief Programming Director at the JCC of Krakow. She has built her knowledge and experience through multiple trainings, workshops, and seminars, both in Poland and internationally, which were organized by The U.S. State Department, Yad Vashem, The Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial Site and Museum, The Taube Center for Jewish Life & Learning in Poland, and the POLIN Musem of The History of The Polish Jews.
Years ago, Agnieszka's Israeli friends started calling her Agi, which is how she still introduces herself today.
