Tour Description
Since its inception in 1895, Venice's Biennale international art fair has earned its place as one of the world's most important cultural events, often setting the tone for contemporary art across the globe. With over 300,000 visitors, 76 invited artists, and over 90 national pavilions, this bi-annual Biennale positions Venice as a must-see destination for any contemporary art enthusiast.

For the 2026 edition, the Biennale takes a more intimate approach with its theme, In Minor Keys, conceived by the late curator Koyo Kouoh. Inspired by her vision, the Biennale unfolds like a jazz composition, with "minor frequencies" that evoke improvisation, solitude, and emotional depth. The artists invite you into a reflective, sensory conversation, deeply rooted in collective imagination, ancestral memory, and shared futures.

Whether you come with curiosity, skepticism, or a desire to reconnect with the world in a deeper way, this Biennale tour opens a path to understanding how art resonates across cultures, histories, and human experiences.

Stay updated on the event via the official Biennale website. Choose our tour for a curated, in-depth exploration of the 2026 Biennale, blending art, history, and the cultural legacy of Venice, guided by a knowledgeable local expert.

Erika was a fabulous Biennial guide. Her knowledge of the art, the artists and their practice was outstanding. We spent 4 hours with her and couldn’t have been happier. Also her English was terrific. Thank you Erika.
This was one of many tours with Context. Always excellent, and particularly Nadia, with whom we have toured three times. Smart, gracious, a pleasure.
Giovanna was fantastic! The booking staff- I rebooked tours (very last minute, while they were still available) that I cancelled because of coming down with Covid. These cancelled tours were easily refilled by others because tours were in high demand. They ended up cancelling my rebooked tours because of not thoroughly reading my emails. Often returning my desperate communications days later. Come on guys! What company doesn't try to help you when you tell them you have to completely rebook a Venice vacation! Kayla and Christian tried very hard to fix the mistake. Bianca was the one who cancelled my rebooked trips without confirming. She wrote the email without reading mine and immediately cancelled them even though she said she wished to confirm! She also should have apologized for her mistake, instead of having her coworkers deal with it! Customer service? I enjoyed my Biennale tour but would hesitate to encourage others to use a firm that is difficult to reach when something goes wrong.
