Please be aware that the museum enforces a strict limit on the number of visitors allowed at any given time, resulting in highly limited ticket availability. Consequently, some changes and reschedules may occur, and we appreciate your patience in these instances.
Please Note: the Borghese Gallery is undergoing works of renovation and some rooms might be closed exceptionally and unexpectedly. Your expert will adapt the itinerary accordingly if necessary.

Why isn’t this tour offered on Mondays?
The Borghese Gallery is closed on Mondays so we are unable to offer tours.

Is this tour wheelchair-friendly?
Yes, the Borghese Gallery is accessible to people with mobility issues. Wheelchair users can access a dedicated entrance, and wheelchairs are also available for rent on-site. Due to the cramped spaces, guests may occasionally be asked to temporarily swap their wheelchairs for the museum's smaller, easier-to-maneuver wheelchairs.

Hillary was an excellent guide. Very passionate and well educated. She's a great story teller and made the art come alive. I got much, much more than I anticipated. Hillary was prompt and the meeting place was unambiguous - very comforting in such a confusing metropolis. Her approach to the collection was great. We moved from gallery to gallery opposite from the direction of the herd and therefore had more uninterrupted time with several works. While some might prefer a more ordered approach to the collection, I was right in tune with Hillary on this. Each piece stands on its own. There is context in looking at an artist's development over time, but such a large collection does not lend itself well to such an approach given the limited time allowed in the Borghese. Hillary is a real asset for your company and I will highly recommend Context and Hillary to anyone who asks. Thanks very much for a wonderful experience.

The walk was exciting and I extend my gratitude to Jose for a great job. I, however, lacked a deep historical insight at times, but I understand that the tour had to be adjusted to suit the intellectual interests of all the participants.
