Why isn’t this tour offered on Mondays?
The Borghese Gallery is closed on Mondays so we are unable to offer tours.

Is this tour wheelchair-friendly?
Yes, the Borghese Gallery is accessible to people with mobility issues. Wheelchair users can access a dedicated entrance, and wheelchairs are also available for rent on-site. Due to the cramped spaces, guests may occasionally be asked to temporarily swap their wheelchairs for the museum's smaller, easier-to-maneuver wheelchairs.

The Borghese Gallery is exciting in that you have 2 hours to see 3 or 4 hours of great art. Linda was fantastic with great stories and insight on the art and the artists. She really knows her Bernini and Caravaggio. Truly an expert in her field. We started on the first floor and went up the stairs to the 2nd viewing the highlights in the Pinacoteca. There is no better way to see the gallery considering the Gallery's limits. It's too bad they don't have an after hours tour.

He was wonderful - very passionate about the Borghese. He taught us an appreciation of the works in a way that I never would have realized. When at the end of the tour I tried to give him a tip he absolutely refused - said that he just loves what he does.

The tour cost is higher than other tours (comparing cost versus time) and the actual time in the Galleria was 1 hour 50 minutes (limited by the Galleria staff).
The half hour before was used in administrative matters; perhaps some of this time could be used to explore the associated garden and aviary.
Carol was satisfactory but seemed nervous and was often flustered when questions were asked. We would have appreciated her commenting more on the techniques of painting.
