Please be aware that the museum enforces a strict limit on the number of visitors allowed at any given time, resulting in highly limited ticket availability. Consequently, some changes and reschedules may occur, and we appreciate your patience in these instances.
Please Note: the Borghese Gallery is undergoing works of renovation and some rooms might be closed exceptionally and unexpectedly. Your expert will adapt the itinerary accordingly if necessary.

Why isn’t this tour offered on Mondays?
The Borghese Gallery is closed on Mondays so we are unable to offer tours.

Is this tour wheelchair-friendly?
Yes, the Borghese Gallery is accessible to people with mobility issues. Wheelchair users can access a dedicated entrance, and wheelchairs are also available for rent on-site. Due to the cramped spaces, guests may occasionally be asked to temporarily swap their wheelchairs for the museum's smaller, easier-to-maneuver wheelchairs.

Only issue was that it was the last tour of the day and we had no time to visit the bookstore afterwards/ it was closed.

I apologize for the lateness of my review . Lauren Golden was incredible....she not only knew the dates , the facts , and the where of the subject, she knew the why of the art and architecture she was showing us. Our group was interested in sculpture and architecture but not all were knowledgeable in the history . Lauren , with her intimate knowledge of the work and the artists brought age of Bernini, Carravagio and the Papacy to life for us. We were educated and entertained . We would definitely recommend Context and Lauren to all coming to Rome. Our only regret is we did not have time to engage Ms. Golden for other lectures.. My friends and I feel we were lucky to have had the opportunity to spend time with such a gracious and informative lady. I am sure you know what an asset she is to Context. Only more time was lacking

1. The insights shared by Lauren were very helpful. As with other tours we've taken, the quality of the tour is driven by the quality of the docent.
2. The focus on the key exhibits in order to stay within the 2 hour gallery limit was very good.
