Tour Description
Your introductory Prague city tour will start at Malostranska Square, a key gathering point in the Lesser Town, and explore the exterior of the Church of St. Nicholas. Depending on the day, you may explore other important sites like the beautiful ochre facade of the Church of Our Lady Victorious or the unusual (dare we say, gruesome) stories of a plague column. You will then stroll across the Charles Bridge. This Gothic masterpiece, and the stern, larger-than-life statues that line it, was central to the medieval revamping of the city and now captures the imagination of the city’s visitors.
Heading to the historic Old Town, you’ll touch upon many notable sites.. This may include the Carolinum, a university founded by Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV, or the Klementinum, a center for learning once run by Jesuits. Depending on your interest, you might seek out houses of worship like St. James’s Basilica, the Church of Our Lady Before Tyn, or the Old-New Synagogue. Or, you may focus on sites of political and artistic importance, such as the Estates Theatre and the House of the Black Madonna.
Regardless of the route, you’ll have the chance to thoroughly explore the Old Town Square. And for those wanting to learn about the famed Astronomical Clock, it’s right around the corner!

We had the absolute pleasure of exploring Prague with Ernestina as our personal tour guide. Ernestina exuded warmth, passion, and a deep love for her city that was truly contagious.
Our journey through the Lesser Quarter, across the iconic Charles Bridge, and into the historic heart of Old Town felt less like a typical sightseeing tour and more like a fascinating walk through time with a friend with inside information. Ernestina’s knowledge of the city’s history and architecture allowed her to blend rich historical context with local legends, fun anecdotes, and insights you won’t find in a guidebook. Furthermore, She went above and beyond to tailor the experience to our interests.
Ernestina’s attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm made us feel not just like tourists, but honored guests in her beloved city. We ended the day feeling deeply connected to Prague’s history, culture, and spirit —thanks to Ernestina’s thoughtful guidance.
