The subject matter is so interesting and Anna is very knowledgeable and very nice. However, for our kids, we could have benefitted from a more lively and organized historical perspective that was more accessible for them. Also, the pacing could have been better in terms of making time for the Concergerie, although Anna did a great job of getting us through the lines, etc.

While still worth the cost of the tour, this was the least satisfying tour my family and I have taken with Context for two reasons. First, the docent, while well intended, didn't really reach my children. I feel we spent a little too much time sitting and drawing in Notre Dame rather than exploring. This approach may work well with 10 to 15 year olds, but with ages 6 and 9 it was less successful. Second, the Concierge was closed on the day of our tour. While I realize that is beyond the control of Context, we would have rescheduled for a different day had we been informed. The result left us unable to see an important element of the tour.
Nonetheless, it is important to note that Marie was a lovely person who took great interest in the children even if it wasn't the most successful tour.
