We loved our tour with Helen! We got a wonderful drawing session in with history on all of the statues we sketched. Then we walked the city and learned all about the history and various art within other sites as well. Thank you for a local and fun view into Florence!
Our family including our nine and fourteen year old spent the day doing the full day tour of Florence including the Uffizi and Accademia with Alessandra. Not only did she do a tremendous job of making a vast amount of priceless art approachable for the youngsters, but she also had a vast store of knowledge from which to answer our questiions. An example - David’s left arm was broken in 1515 when warring councillors got in a fight in an adjacent Bargello and threw a bench out of the window! My older son is interested in music and we took a detour into the music instrument wing of the Accademia where we got to see several Stradivari instruments and the first piano! She also whisked us through lines, found restrooms, and took us to her favorite granita/gelato place. I am so glad my sister recommended Context tours to us. Ask for Alessandra! Definitely worth the price!

Rubina was an outstanding guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about both the city of Florence and the art we were viewing. Rubina made visiting the Uffizi manageable, informative, and entertaining. When there was a delay in entry to the Accademia she made sure we were comfortable in a cafe and then handled the situation very professionally. Our experience of David was remarkable because of her thoughtful perspective. Cannot imagine a better guide.
